LENDERS I HAVE USED WITH SUCCESS:  There are basically two types of lenders: 

Direct Lenders ( Banks and Savings& Loans)have loan representatives who work strictly for their financial institution.  They only offer loans made by their company.
Loan Brokers: As the name implies these companies have access to many financial institutions and offer a variety of loans.
You should always compare programs, rates and closing costs to determine which is the best loan and terms for you.
